This week’s home-staging tip is a reminder to try to showcase each room in your home for the use it is intended for.
During the time you have spent in your home, you may have decided to transform a dining room into a play area for the kids, or perhaps a spare bathroom into a storage room - or even into a greenhouse – I'm not judging, I know we live in BC and all...but hopefully that's not the case when you decide to call a Realtor!
Please convert all spaces back into their intended use, and highlight the various aspects that are present within them. All buyers are different, and as a result, have different needs. Keep the layout general rather than having it targeted for a specific type of buyer by displaying each room as it was meant to be. This will ensure that you’re having the maximum number of people attracted to your home.
Remember that part of what we do prior to putting your home on the market includes a staging consultation - so any issues like this will be pointed out to you!
